If you went by "model year" as some car companies do, my '76 Gran Torino, built in 7/76, would be a '77 model. By manufacturing year, my wife's 9/99 manufactured '00 Durango would be a 1999 model. Sometimes inconsistency is the best policy. Or is that honesty? Eh, make it both, too!
